Glanmarlais is an organic farm in the beautiful Towy valley in mid-Wales offering comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation. Nestled deep in the Welsh countryside, the farm has a rare cattle breed (Irish Moyled) as well as native Welsh Black sheep.
Records for the estate go back to the Armada year of 1588. The present buildings date from the eighteenth and nineteenth century and are of traditional stone and slate construction.
Of Glanmarlais' 103 acres, nearly 30 acres are broadleaf and conifer woodlands with pastureland accounting for the rest and the river Marlais running through the lower pastures. Glanmarlais in Welsh means the banks of the Marlais.
